Stefan Fierz has worked as a lawyer at nigon Rechtsanwälte I Notariat since 2011. He has years of wide-ranging experience in advising and representing SMEs, employers and employees in all areas of private law, and employment law in particular.

Stefan Fierz has been accredited as a specialist in labour law since 2017. This is a guarantee of particular qualifications for the field of employment and public employment law, as well as in related areas of law (data protection, social security law) and is only awarded by the Swiss Bar Association upon completion of appropriate practical experience and specific additional training.

Stefan Fierz is also involved in contract drafting, assistance with distribution systems, as well as work relating to family law and tenancy law. He advises both legal entities and natural persons in these areas, and also represents his clients in court.

His sideline as a music producer and musician has given Stefan Fierz many years' experience in the music industry and in-depth knowledge of the field of intellectual property and music law.

Stefan Fierz works as a music producer, composer and musician in his own studio and has released various recordings with different formations since 2001. He plays concerts on all stages in Switzerland and is a member of a carnival clique in Basel. He is also the honorary president of the board of the association Begegnungszentrum Union in Kleinbasel and a member of the Casino Committee of the Stadtcasino Basel.
